How do I Order a bunch of flowers?
For Seasonal gift bouquets, ordering is done by the section “Fresh Flower Orders” on the website where you can select the amount you’d like to spend. Any Special requirements can be input on the forms on the order page. You can also call us directly on 01246460375 within our opening hours, or email us at forest.inkandearth@gmail.com, or if pop down to the shop. You can pay online or over the phone.
How do I order something specific or bespoke like a dried bunch or a wreath?
There are some options available on the website which you can order from, but if you have something particular in mind, calling the shop, popping down to see us or emailing is the best option. Please keep in mind bespoke orders sometimes have waiting times in busy periods ie. Christmas. So to make sure you’re not disappointed Pre-Ordering is usually best.
What do I do If I’m not sure what I want?
The best option here is to call or email us, we can advise you on what in stock, what you can get for your budget and any suggestions we may have. We don’t mind if you have no idea what you’re asking for - it’s our job to help!
Can I Order a delivery for today?
Yes. If you order by 11.30am your bouquet will be delivered the same day.
Do you do guaranteed delivery times?
No, We aim to deliver all bouquets by lunch time - depending on when the order has come in. But, we don’t give out delivery times. If you need your order at a certain time please contact us to make sure this is available first. If the recipient is not in, the order will be left in a safe place and note will be left.
When are your delivery days and how far do you deliver to?
We delivery locally (Chesterfield) Tuesday - Saturday. Deliveries are taken out in the morning and the cut off for same day delivery is 11.30am. For bespoke / dried orders we can deliver through the post anywhere, please note that this service takes longer and would not be same day orders.
Can I Pre order?
Yes! Pre ordering is encouraged, to ensure you get any specific flowers you are wanting, and and special requests can be fulfilled.
Can I just walk in and choose some Flowers?
Yes! We are here to help. So, if you want to come and choose some blooms to style yourself at home or choose some for us to tie in to a bouquet for you, either is fine and we are here to guide you should you need help selecting.
Do you offer subscriptions?
Yes, these aren’t available on the website. If you would like to arrange a subscription for yourself or someone else, We offer weekly, Fortnightly or Monthly fresh flowers starting at £25 + delivery and these can be arranged either over the phone or via email.

Do you do weddings?
Yes! We have been trading in the wedding industry since 2019, and cover all aspects of wedding florals, from bridal parties, venue dressing to flower crowns and thank you bouquets.
How to I get in touch about my wedding?
Please contact us via the contact page on the website. Make sure to include any relevant information eg. Wedding Venue, Date booked, Inspiration images or colour and flower preferences, and rough quantities of items you may need. Include anything else you think would be necessary. From here we tailor a free quote to your requirements, and you can decide whether you’d like to go ahead with the booking.
I haven’t got my venue booked, can I still book with you?
Unfortunately we don’t take bookings unless a wedding date and venue is secured.
I’m not sure what I want for my flowers and I also have no clue what any flower names are!
That is one of the most common things we hear, and it’s not an issue at all! Together we can go through your likes and dislikes, colour preferences, flower varieties, and the finer details of your day to come up with designs that work for you and within your budget. You don’t need to know flower names, we can assist you here!
What happens after I book in my Wedding with you?
Once your wedding booking fee Is paid, we will arrange a meeting to go through your ideas and requirements in depth, from here you have a point of contact with us directly incase you’d like to send over anything further between the our meetings and your event date. This includes, any Pinterest boards, flowers you like, photos etc. After the meeting you receive your own Mood board / colour palette, for a visual reference of your ideas.
Do you do venue dressing?
Yes! We offer all aspects of wedding and event florals from flower arches and flower clouds to bud vases and table decor.
Do you deliver the wedding flowers or do I need to collect it?
We will always offer to deliver unless its more practical for you to collect eg. You’re getting married abroad and just want something small and dried to take with you. We will bring your flowers to wherever you’re getting ready, and any other items are taken to where you need them.
Do you set up and move the flowers if we want to move them to a second venue?
Yes, if you book a wedding with us that included venue dressing, and want to reuse your flowers at a second location, we will arrange this during the meeting so that we can move the items, as seamlessly as possible. So that you don’t have to think about that on the day.
What happens to my flowers after my wedding day?
They are your flowers, so it’s totally up to you what you do with them, most venues will tell you to remove them the following morning, and its your choice whether to take them home, gift them, or bin them. We don’t come to collect unless you’ve hired large items, large structures and frames that need to be removed within a timescale. We will discuss this with you during them meeting and will make sure to either leave or remove the flowers depending on what you’d prefer. Unless we have pre agreed for you to return any structures and larger items yourself. Any smaller hired items will need to be returned to us.
What happens if I lose or break hired items?
Of course we understand that accidents happen, and if you’d prefer to source your own vessels and props for us to use then please let us know. Otherwise hired items that aren’t returned are charged to you the full price of the item lost or broken.
What happens if the flowers I want aren’t available when I get married?
Working with fresh produce is always a challenge, we have to take in to account the time of year, weather conditions, supply, demand etc. Sometimes specific flowers just aren’t available, especially if they’re not in season when your date is booked. We will always do everything we can to get the products you want, but, if unfortunately that isn’t possible. We substitute for items that are a close match and the same aesthetic as what you’d like.

Do you do workshops and private classes?
Yes, We offer seasonal workshops that are available to book through our website, information on this is posted to our social pages for when to book and what’s on. For private classes, workshops, corporate events and parties, please email us directly.
What sort of workshops do you do?
We hold a number of workshops throughout the year like flower crown making, dried flower or everlasting flower hoop workshops, hand tied bouquet classes to seasonal wreath making.
What do I need to bring?
Just yourself! If you have your own pair of snips or gloves please feel free to bring these along with you. We provide all the materials and refreshments are available at all classes.
Can I come to a workshop on my own?
Yes!! Of course, the workshops are such a nice activity to do alone or in a group. Lots of people come to just get creative, and lots of people attend them alone. Plus, you might meet new people or just zone out and enjoy some me time.

Do you do funeral flowers?
Yes, we offer funeral flowers from coffin sprays to lettering. We are far from traditional in our style so if you’re looking for something bespoke and different from just choosing from a catalog you’ve come to the right place.

Do you deliver or do we have to collect?
All arrangements will be taken to your chosen funeral director, and to where the wake is being held if you’ve opted for extra decor. So you don’t have to worry about this on the day.
Im struggling to choose what flowers i’d like as tribute flowers!
We are here to help, We know it’s extremely difficult to pick flowers as a tribute to a loved one, which is why this service is personalised. We can sit and discuss what you’d really like, their interest and hobbies, and what makes it bespoke to them. We can guide you through what flowers would be appropriate and add any special touches.

I’m thinking of having a flower installation in my new venue/shop front, but I’m not sure what!
Get in touch via email or phone call to discuss your initial ideas, from here we can either do a site visit or discuss ideas over email. Make sure to include photos of the space, locations and size where possible. Where we will suggest what would work best in the space you have.
Do you come to fit the installation and flower clouds or do we have to arrange for this?
Whatever you’re more comfortable with, we can wither arrange for experienced people to install or you can arrange if you have preferred builders. We will discuss what would work best during the planning process based on the type of installation, sizes and location.
Im wanting some flowers for promotional imagery, or to dress a space for an event or photoshoot, do you offer this kind of service?
Yes, if you need any floral dressing or styling for promotional events, photoshoots, set styling or venue dressing please get in touch via email with as much information as possible.
