Finding your Wedding Team.

Planning a wedding can be amazing and exciting but also totally exhausting and often emotional, but one thing that can really change your planning process is finding suppliers that are right for you as a couple. Someone or a team who just totally gets your vibe, your ideas and the way YOU want to do it. Suppliers are human (mostly) so naturally you’ll appreciate how some work and others might not suit your planning style. For example, for me personally, I prefer a more relaxed and natural photography style, therefore when searching for my photographers I look for people who will deliver the style I want and make me feel comfortable, with candid or very minimal posing. This may not be your vibe, so seek the person who you feel mirrors what you want. This applies to the whole industry, I’m not saying that suppliers aren’t versatile - they are! But, this is your day, your ideas, your memories, so It should be important that your team reflects you. How do you do this? create a list of vendors you’ve found, through social media, google or recommendations. Give yourself a few options - like I say, you will find who suits you best whether its a more personalised service, better options for your budget within your vibe, or just someone that you really like. Send that reach out email. In this include as much relevant information you can, I’m talking wedding venue(s), date booked, rough timings of the day, quantities needed, special requirements, colour scheme ideas, images etc. This will help us to give you a clearer image of what we can offer for you, how our booking process works and of course, the price guides. It’s then up to you for which supplier you feel most comfortable with communicating your ideas with during your wedding planning process. I have always managed to find the most amazing suppliers to work with when applying this technique of creating a list and narrowing it down rather than messaging the first I see and panic booking. It’s about you guys, It’s your turn to feel special. So find those people who make you feel good.
